Road, Car Park and Safety Area Markings in Thermoplastic and Approved Road Marking Paint
About Amos Traffic Markings
traffic marking At the end of the 20th century the increase of traffic and the number of vehicles on the roads has increased the demand for the control of traffic flow with lane markings and advisory warnings for general safety at junctions and intersections. More vehicles also means more spaces and places for them to park in busy town and city centres and increasingly in out of town shopping centres.

Amos Traffic Markings was established to handle the ever increasing demand for road and car park surface line painting and marking and is part of AMOS Consultancy Services.

Over the years marking materials and surfaces have changed with British Standard numbers and specifications being introduced to both standardise and legalise Traffic control and safety. We are fully conversant with procedures for applying or installing:

  • Hot screed applied thermoplastic B.S.3262
  • Pre-formed thermoplastic B.S.3262
  • Road marking paint (Chlorinated rubber) B.S. 6044
  • PVC covered metallic tape (5250 and 5251)
  • Traffic calming speed humps
  • Road studs (plain and with reflector)
  • Demarcation markers
  • Anti-skid safety surfaces
road line painting All members of the marking and lining teams are certified by the national authority and have official recognition. This is annually updated and renewed.

We are BS9002 registered and have obtained approval as satisfactory contractors by an an enormous number of companies and departments in the civil engineering and local authority world.

ISO 9002 Approved

No job is too small but unfortunately there is a callout charge which depends on
the lining material required and as everything we do is subject the weather
we appreciate the site being ready when we arrive.
